February 13, 2011 journal, to describe the vision I saw to paint art with the world on fire. About my vision to paint art July 1989. The human body is a marvelous creation and it is not unusual to dream dreams or to see visions. It may be unusual for life changing visions or dreams. I have been some sort of a day dreamer from childhood. What happened to me seemed to be natural yet it was one of those experiences in life that you never forget, in fact you always remember although it is not the dream that drives me as much as the fire inside me to reveal Biblical prophecy. I have been reluctant to describe it in detail and did not tell anyone about it for some time. I did not understand then so much as I understand it by now although I did respond to the direction the sudden vision set me in. I feel now it is time to describe the vision in detail. My 2 encounters with what I consider the Spirit of God appeared to be mandatory for me. I had suffered a separation of me (we) and money in 1988 and from the stress along with perhaps being allergic to certain additives to the food and water became handicapped in my feet and hands. Honolulu is one of my favorite places in the world and one of the several VA clinics where I sought treatment. I had been invited by the radio station manager at the University of Nations to visit and speak on radio in Hilo. They are located at Kuna Hawaii on the West dry side of the island. I flew over from Honolulu on Friday and was invited to stay with a staff family who invited me to tour the northwest coast on Sunday. My hosts also invited me to stop by a small church in this small village during their worship hour and I was pleased to do so. Neither the church nor the Christian Missionary University not even Hawaii had anything to do with my vision in my opinion. My vision on the Big Island of Hawii. The church had open sides like a tabernacle and I remember the ceiling was wooden. There was a true Polynesian native style structure of the church building I appreciated. The preacher at the church had been recently converted out of the world and delivered. I remember his joy and happiness even though he would occasionally use some slang in his message as he was obviously trying to convert his language to a more godly vocabulary. I do not know what denomination that church group was but I was Pentecostal Holiness. I was sitting with my friends when suddenly I was gone in my spirit to view a scene from a universal vantage point where I saw the coming of the Lord and the world on fire. I could say I saw the world on fire and the coming of the Lord. There is no need to write a new chapter to the Bible because what I saw is all clearly predicted already in prophecy. How do I know it was the Lord God Yesu Yehweh? I do not but it is according to my faith. The moving heavenly appearing figure seemed to resemble a mighty angel circling the earth and for that instant an indelible impression was branded into my mind forever. I never left the earth because I was still looking up toward the heavens in my vision. It seems to me everyone is a visionary artist in their own way even children and especially children. Some paint art and others build empires. Imagine a world without imagination. After this impression I became aware of my surroundings again and realized that no one else had seen it. When the worship service dismissed I turned immediately to my host to ask if there were any art supply stores on the island and he answered yes near their home, you can go there tomorrow morning, I will loan you a car. I was compelled in my spirit to paint. Nothing in my life has ever been clearer to me as a divine intervention than this my vision. When I received the Holy Spirit anointing I felt a similar experience of heavenly transformation. This was the second time in my life I felt physically moved by the spirit. That Holy Spirit must be cultivated daily to fuel its power and presence in our midst. I was never really happy making money and I feel real peace and contentment as I am. Life seems to be a combination of success and failures otherwise we may become too proud. I saw the vision plus my nature was changed to paint art for which I have no training. I have no doubt about the commission if you will to paint art but I did not understand it, I do not understand why I must paint when I wanted so much to do commercial business. The vision was silent with no voice heard but the message was incarnate to paint the vision and the entire Biblical story from the Garden of Eden to Armageddon and to the New Jerusalem. Painting comes easy and natural for me now, sometimes I just think it seemingly creates on the canvas. I stop painting a picture when I see nothing else to do. I arrived early the next morning by the time the art store opened and begin to ask how to put paint on canvas. The lady was very patient with me and I stayed most of the day but could not get the courage or confidence to purchase art supplies. I returned the next day and spent most of the day once again studying the art supplies. The third day I purchased $50 worth of art supplies including a brush and a canvas. I asked the proprietor if I could sit outside the store on the picnic table to paint and she said yes. There in 3 days I did my first painting. I painted what I saw but it was crude and I was afraid to show it to anyone. I brought the painting home with me on the aircraft and continued to paint amazed at how contrasting colors would make scenes appear. I switched to acrylic from oil paint as I got braver in command of the colors. It was five years later I felt lead to paint the Book of Revelation 300 ft. It was still later I was commissioned to paint the 7 Days of Creation. I average about 100 paintings per year and consider it a ministry and missionary venture. At first I painted on everything I could find including unstretched canvas and plywood. There is always a thorn in the flesh to hinder us if we allow. A few times in my life I have seen things in the physical before they were visible and I believe the mystery marvelous created human mind is capable of such visionary power. I must be careful not to be presumptuous with God Almighty. I envision hundreds of paintings maybe even thousands although only those most urgent ones get painted. I have no magic or extraordinary ability or talent that I am aware of. All God's people are saints. Disabilities are a minor factor in accomplishment when the mission & ministry is present. People ask how I do it, painting up to 12 feet tall and I answer that I really do not know. I have fallen thousands of times but never broken a bone in my body and for that I am thankful. Life is not easy and I have no special privileges but life is positively wonderful. Painting spiritual art and commentary is now my complete focus wherein I am contented. I have lost my appetite for fame and fortune seeing things that are not as though they are. God has created the paint and somehow I just let it fall in place. Painting art is a wonderful physical & mental therapy and I do it the only one way I can. For the first year I kept it hidden but it got out. My family advised me not to paint people and to not write on my paintings but those characteristics seem to strengthen the message and to my knowledge have never weaken the impressionary effect. I am not trying to be a professional artist. If I can better the life of one person then my mission is accomplished. More opinion and information. The Holy Spirit may have something to do with my creating art with inspiration and motivation but I am not ready to make that statement yet. Again may I express my not having any extraordinary powers with God not available to all Christian people who study and believe the Old and New Testament. Acts Chapter 2 is where the Church began just after the 4 Gospels. The Church was filled with the Holy Spirit of God and sometimes referred to as the "Holy Ghost" and "they spake in unknown tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance". The apostle Peter preached there on that same day when 3000 "souls" were added to the New Testament Church membership. There has been a reproach to being Pentecostal which has slowly lifted in the 20 century. The event in Acts Chapter 2 is recorded as 'Day of Pentecost' when the promised gift of the Holy Spirit was given shortly after Christ ascension to heaven from Mount of Olives. All Christian people are ministers of the gospel not just priest or preachers. Art is now a broader term and considered physical performance. A preacher of the gospel paints a mental picture with words although some of them seem to paint a wrong message. My view of the modern Church is that it has drifted into commercialism. God is not into money but he is into charity for all of us his children. Christian people are all servants to God. Jonah was running away from God when he got swallowed by a giant whale then he went and obeyed God and preached the gospel. I believe miracles do still happen and I believe in divine healing and health. All wisdom & knowledge comes from the Lord God. Most religions of the world are set in stone except for the Christian Protestant religions. They keep changing. Blessings offered in New Testament are not necessarily financial. I had to grow in the spirit and I am still learning from my mistakes which is an on going process. The Christian life I advocate and manifest is a full-time one with the Lord God. I bear no titles. Most Christian people recognize each other and share a common spirit. American people are a majority Protestant Christians divided into many denominations including the Pentecostals which have grown more rapidly as in the modern charismatic movement. I got off that train because they became too diversified for me to advocate and they then moved heavily into politics wherein I could not follow them into the wars. Protestant Christian America sends out thousands of missionaries all over the world to convert different religions to Christianity. Diversification approves all those religions without conversion therefore negates the Missionaries message and purpose to deploy. I do not intend to be judgmental that being left for God as this is the mission & ministry. My artwork is shown more by secular museums and universities for its art content even though the public interprets the Christian message contained therein and I am happy. By now you can see that my art is a vehicle of ministry of my personal spiritual convictions. The problems of the world are not being resolved by merging of religions or wars or by money, education, politics. Only the coming of the Lord will bring peace. All this is the churches responsibility but religions are not being peace minded. I believe my vision is consistent with the prophecies of the Bible and that we are living in the end time age of God's tolerance and grace. Perhaps we should give art an opportunity church and state. Our veterans are reported to be homeless by a larger percentage than the general public.
